My name is Muhammed Hashir.
“Build things that still work when everything else breaks.”
Self-Taught Builder from Kerala, India
I focus on building software that solves practical, real-world problems for real production environments.
Taking Systems Apart to Build Them Better
My journey into software development didn't follow a traditional path. I learned by taking systems apart, understanding how they work, fixing what was broken, and rebuilding them into something more useful. That same mindset shapes how I approach engineering today.
I primarily work with Go and Laravel, building backend systems, automation platforms, ERP software, desktop applications, and infrastructure tools. I am especially interested in software that improves day-to-day operations for businesses rather than building technology for its own sake.
Over the years, I have worked on ERP systems for battery repair businesses, accounting software, WhatsApp automation platforms, inventory & billing tools, school management systems, and self-hosted services.
Engineering Philosophy
Core Principles
- Solve Real Problems: Build software that makes everyday operations more efficient.
- Simplicity First: Keep systems as simple as possible without sacrificing reliability.
- Maintainability Over Cleverness: Design clean code structures for long-term maintainability.
- Continuous Learning: Constantly building, testing, and refining systems.
ERP & Industry Software
Building custom ERP systems for battery repair businesses, accounting software, school management, and billing suites tailored for real operations.
Go Daemons & POS Utilities
Creating virtual ESC/POS 80mm thermal printer emulators (pos-80-mock), concurrent microservices, and network socket daemons in Go.
WhatsApp Automation Platforms
Engineering WhatsBridge relays for automated transactional notifications, instant PDF receipt delivery, and customer communications.
Repair Tech & Hardware Integration
Leveraging deep interest in electronics, hardware diagnostics, and networking to build tools where hardware and software meet.
Engineering Showcase
Production-grade systems, multi-tenant ERP suites, high-throughput Go services, and hardware diagnostic daemons.
ESC/POS 80mm Virtual Printer & Visualizer
Virtual ESC/POS 80mm thermal printer emulator and visualizer dashboard written in Go. Simulates raw receipt printing over local network (LAN) on TCP Port 9100 for POS billing systems.
WhatsBridge Automation Platform
Robust WhatsApp automation bridge enabling automated transactional notifications, billing updates, and customer event dispatches for business ERP systems.
Battery Repair & Industry ERP System
Specialized ERP suite engineered for battery repair & refurbishing operations, managing warranty logs, cell diagnostics, job tickets, billing, and double-entry accounting.
School Management & Billing ERP
End-to-end ERP platform for educational institutions handling student enrollment, fee collection schedules, attendance tracking, and automated parent communication.
HX Streaming Music Server
Lightweight audio streaming server built to handle continuous media playback, metadata indexing, and client stream synchronization over HTTP.
ERPAgent Daemon & Microservice
Automated background service daemon written to monitor system event hooks, sync local ledger changes with remote Cloudflare/PostgreSQL backends, and maintain system integrity.
Engineering Philosophy
The core principles that shape how I approach software design, backend architecture, and problem-solving.
“Build software that solves real problems.”
Focus on software that improves day-to-day operations and creates tangible value for businesses, rather than building technology for its own sake.
“Keep systems as simple as possible without sacrificing reliability.”
Avoid unnecessary complexity. Build lightweight, dependable infrastructure that scales cleanly and remains rock-solid under real production load.
“Design for maintainability before cleverness.”
Clever abstractions often fail over time. Clear data structures, explicit error handling, and maintainable domain logic win every single time.
“Learn continuously by building, testing, and improving.”
Understand internal mechanics by taking systems apart, analyzing broken components, and iteratively engineering superior solutions.
